Bacon Trip

Parkour sure does come in handy when you run out of bacon.


Plot - Man in kitchen getting a pan out to start cooking bacon, but as he goes to get the bacon he discovers that theres none left, so he then decides to use his parkour skills to get his bacon as quickly as possible. involving jumping onto a moving car to get down the road faster
This idea came about when we got hungry and where looking around for something to eat. After actualy realising that russell was all out of bacon we had to go get some.

Santa Brawl

Santa Brawl - Christmas Speciel

As it was christmas we decided it would be a good idea to make a festive video, so here it is!


Kid opens his presents on christmas eve, And santa gets pissed and then turns his sleigh round and tries to kill him.

Plot - Santa arrives though a Chimney and delivers some presents, and as he leaves James pops up from behind the sofa to open hi presents early.
Santa sees this happening on his monitor on his sleigh, and then turns his sleigh around to go back to his house. Later on James opens his last present to reveal a gun, then as he walks back upstairs santa crashes into his house and then starts chasing him round the house whilst shooting him. They end up in the kitchen where james attempts to throw knifes at him, and then they end up in the lounge where santa runs out of ammo, so he then drops the gun. Then James remembers that he has a gun on him so he takes it out and starts shooting at Santa, but santa dodges the bullets and then picks up a biscuits and throws it at his hand causing him to drop it, so he then picks it up and shoots james. And then treats himself to mince pies and biscuits.

Underground Base

Agent uses secret lift that comes out of the ground to enter a secret underground base.

Starring - Glenn Brassington

Note - Sorry for not actually showing what the base looks like, but this video was mainly just a bit of fun and a test.

Plot - Man runs to a near by field where the entrance to his secret base is located, he claps his hand which makes the elevator door come out of the ground, he then goes into the lift to go down to his base. Later as someone is walking over where the lift is going to come up, it starts to rise from the ground as he comes out, as no one is suppost to know about this secret entrance he then shoots the random person...


We made this video mainly as a test for the effect where the elevator comes out of the ground, which i think worked quite well, to do to we made a 3d model of the circular piece of ground that rises, then textured it, then to make it look like it was coming out the ground, i masked out part of the original footage so you could not see behind it and then added the video of the lift onto the 3d model, aswell as the grass on the top. and then added camera shake for a better effect.

Annoying Neighbours

Guy chilling in his back garden until his neighbour starts throwing extremely large objects into their garden!

Plot - Guy sitting in his garden reading a newspaper, when his neighbour kicks a football over the fence, he then throws it back over and then goes back to his seat, until the neighbours then throw over a golf club, he then again goes and throws it back over the fence, then all of a sudden a full sized car gets flung over the fence and explodes as it hits the floor, then followed by a helicopter, shortly after a full sized jumbo jet crashes into his garden, then after all this he gets back to reading his newspaper.

This was another video where we just randomly came up with the idea and then decided to make it, the effects in this video were made using Adobe After effects, and Photoshop, we found a couple of 3d models of the internet of a car and a helicopter, which were then brought into after effects and animated, the explosions were from the stock footage collection 'Action Essentials 2' And the jumbo jet was just an image I found on Google.

Man dropps his phone off building, and then jumps off and plummets to the ground to receive a phone call!

Plot - Man walking along and receives a text, he then starts going through some of the ringtones on his phone, then all of a sudden a car behind him sounds his horn making him jump and drop his phone off this building, after wondering what to do, he hears his phone ringing, so then then decides to jump off the top of this building, when he lands he goes over to answer the phone, unfortunately the person hung up, he then gets angry and smashes the phone
This idea was thought up while we were working. It started off as just a bit of a joke but then as we thought about it the idea adapted and became somthing that we could shoot.

Film Jumping

Film Jumping - Dream Catcher

A short film made in college for video production, about crazy a guy jumping through the sets of well known movies, starting with james bond, then into Cast Away and then in to star-wars...

Plot- Stars with a student in a classroom who is in a film studies lesson where they are asked to write down a synopsis for their film idea, and this student is struggling to think of an idea, until he suddenly falls into a dream where he becomes James Bond, as he comes round a corner he starts getting fired at by a bad guy, then they both run at each other and start fighting until he manages to grab the bad guys gun and shoot him. He then pulls out a bomb and places it on the floor and runs out, then as he gets out he detonates it with a pen. As he starts walking away he accidentally tripps up into the lake, as he comes back up out of the water he is now Tom Hanks in the film Cast Away, where he arrives at this island and walks across to have a rest, where he then sees this ball, which he picks up. Then all of a sudden a spaceship fly over, now he is in StarWars, he then sees a spaceship in the distance which he starts running to, suddenly he is attacked by another man with a lightsaber, after fighting for a while his lightsaber gets thrown out of his hand, but he manages to use to force to pick it back up just in time, he then drops his lightsaber and runs away, then he wakes up back in his classroom.

Man absolutely baffled as theres something a bit strange with his toilet

Plot - Man looses 5p in a large vase, but as he tries to recover it, he discovers that his vase is some sort of teleporting device. After playing around with the vase, he then goes in the bathroom and puts his hand into the laundry basket and gets his hand wet as it comes out of the toilet, after this he leaves the room and decides it will be a good idea to see what happens if he shoots into the vase, resulting in a tragic situation.

This is another video where we just randomly came up with the idea and then decided to make it, for the first part where he put his hand in the pot and it comes out the cupboard, we did this by firstly filming James put his hand in and out the pot, then in the same shot, he went inside the cupboard and put his hand out and in, then i put the two of these videos together in the same shot. For the part where his hand comes out the toilet, a laid on the floor and put his hand up in the air in front of a green screen, then put the video of his hand on top of the video to make it appear that his hand is coming out of the toilet.

Incredibly Violent Corridor Brawl

Incredibly violent action scene as two rival secret agents are involved in life threatening battle.

Plot - Agent and his sidekick walk into a building to kill another rival agent, before they attack they decide to go separate ways to come at the agent from both sides of the corridor. As the main agent goes straight in to attack, his sidekick runs round to the other entrance, however it turns out this door was locked, then the rival agent shot him, though the window. As he sees he is in danger he has to run all the way back round to try and help him. Meanwhile the two agents fighting both find them self at point blank, and then decide to put the guns down and fight like men. Then the day is saved as the sidekick agent shoots and kills the rival agent.


This effects for this video were made in Adobe After Effects and then was finally put together in Premiere Pro, and some of the sounds were made using Adobe Soundbooth.


This video was made in a half term holiday, and we were able to film in James sixth form/ school. which worked pretty well for what we were doing.


Josh(the one with the machine gun) came up with the general idea for this film but, we all just bounced ideas through out.

Door to Space

Very unusual event as man ends up in outer space as his door becomes a portal.

Plot - Man in shock as he discovers that his door no longer goes into the rest of his house, but instead it has now become a portal to space, so looking round it for a bit, he decides to jump out the door into space.


This video was made using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.


This was a video that we just randomly came up with the idea and decided to make, so we got  a green screen and put it up so that when you open the door there was just a green screen there, so when i edited it, i found a random picture of a galaxy of the internet, then just replaced the green screen with the image to make it appear that it is space. And for the last part we just put the green screen on the ground and got James to lie on it and pretend he is floating through space.

Photographer Disaster

Found a SLR looking camera from a charity shop for £4 so we thought it would be good to use in a film, Featuring my brother Greg who kills everyone at the end!

Plot - Photographer just gets a new camera and is very exited about it, after going round his garden taking pictures, as he is about to take a picture his photographs fall out of his pocket, as he picks them up and then has a look at them, a random man walks into his front garden and for no reason at all smashes his camera then runs out of the garden. the photographer is becomes very upset as he goes and tries to put the camera back togerher, he then becomes angry and pulls out a machine gun and starts shooting at the man who broke his camera, then the man starts shooting back until another man (my brother) goes and finishes them off.


This video was made using Adobe After effects for the short gun scene at the end, and the video was put together in Adobe Premiere Pro. 

Insane Alien Attack!

Man gets brutally attacked by aliens and tries to take them on!

Plot - Man enjoying a glass of water in his garden until he starts getting shot by a group of alien spaceships, forcing him to run to take cover, after finding a gun (jet wash) he then starts shooting in their direction, until he witnesses a UFO fly over his head, h then gets terrified and runs behind some bushes.

This video was made using After effects to add the visual effects, and then sound design and editing was done in Premiere Pro. And for the spaceship at the end i used Photoshop.

This video was filmed a long time ago, and i previously made an edit of it which had more basic effects, which I then decided to re-edit it to add better effects.

As we are new to blogging, I am going to post and write about all the videos from the StuvProducions YouTube Channel.
